Herb Brock
Guitarist Herb Brock, more
commonly know as “The Hillbilly
for Hire” has performed at
festivals and fairs all over central
Indiana for the last 15 years. He is
a regular guest on the Friday
night show at the Little Nashville
Opry and has performed at the
Monroe Bluegrass Fall Festival in
Beanblossom Indiana. Herb has

stars as Kitty Wells, Patty
Loveless, Bobby Bare, The Gatlin
Brothers and Joe Edwards. Herb
performs a variety of country,
gospel, rock, comedy and popular
music although he is best known
for his 50’s and 60’s era country.
Influenced by the West Coast Sound, Herb's favorite guitar
picking styles are that of James Burton, Chuck Berry, Don
Rich and Duane Eddy. His music has been compared to that of
Merle Haggard and Buck Owens, His singing to that of Bobby
Bear or Tom T. Hall. Herb is more of a balladeer with that
strong Telecaster Punch associated with the West Coast
musicians.

Herb's twang and energy will Rock the house, while his soft
country ballads will make you so melancholy you may feel a
tear swelling in your soul.
